Commitment to the Environment

Along with providing a boutique for unique freshwater pearl designs, we at Tiana Pearl Co. strive to support the environment. After all, we realize that the oysters that make pearls are dependent on a clean, natural environment to thrive. Plus, many of our favorite activities occur outside-from relaxing in front of a campfire with a mug hot chocolate (Nicole) to playing Frisbee (Jason) to hang-gliding (Chad wishes). So we can imagine few better things than helping support the environment while carrying forth our vision of bringing you the finest in hand-crafted pearl jewelry.


Support of the Sierra Club

As part of our commitment to the environment, we will donate 2% of all proceeds from the sale of our jewelry to the Sierra Club, an environmental non-profit with a stated goal of “working to protect communities, wild places, and the planet itself.”  Former President Teddy Roosevelt was a supporter, and former Supreme Court Justice William Douglas was one of the Club’s directors, so we know our donations will be in good hands.

Payment Options:

We accept VISA, Master Card, Discover, American Express via Paypal,as well as Paypal, and cashier's checks (please note: it is not necessary for you to become a member of Paypal in order to make your purchase via Paypal). Lastly, please make any cashier's checks payable to Tiana Pearl Co. and mail them to the following address:

Sales Tax:
Sales tax will be calculated at the rate of 7% for orders delivered within Mississippi.

Shipping:
Orders will be shipped Monday – Friday via FedEx or USPS. All in-stock items will be sent within 48 hours of placing your order unless otherwise notified. If an item is listed incorrectly as being in-stock, we will notify you immediately that the piece is unavailable and provide you with the option to cancel the order, keep the order open until the item is available, or select other merchandise equaling the value of the unavailable item. We have a flat rate $5 shipping charge. Tiana Pearls may select the carrier (either FedEx or USPS) with which the items will be shipped for free.

Returns:
If you do not completely adore the merchandise you order (although we are confident you will), we offer a 30-day, full money-back guarantee.  Merely contact customerservice@tianapearl.com and tell us the problem.  Upon authorization, we will issue you a return code.  Then just mail back the item using whatever carrier you choose (please note—shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer).  All returned jewelry must be unworn and in the original box. Please note that we do not accept responsibility for items lost or damaged in transit to us.

In the event that you receive an item that happens to be damaged, please contact us within 30 days of receipt. As we inspect all items prior to shipping, damage will be rare unless it is the result of a shipping concern. If the item was damaged in shipment, please hold on to the damaged container and packing materials so that we may contact the shipper.
